America has been destroyed from within and there’s no coming back

I’ve used the term “Crossing the Rubicon” several times in the past when referring to the state of affairs the United States is in. The term means; to do something that inevitably commits one to following a certain course of action. In other words; there’s no turning back from that ‘certain course.’ I firmly believe that, as much as it grieves me, there is no turning the destruction or the fundamental transformation of the U.S. into a socialist/communist, 3rd world country, no different than any European nation. COVID, vaccine mandates, open borders (and the release of tens of thousands of disease ridden, illegal aliens into America) , out of control inflation, out of control spending, skyrocketing crime, perversion running rampant in our schools, a weakened and “woke” military, Marxists dominating our universities, police (for whatever reason) who are now focused on arresting innocent people … and much, much more … and not one person in power who can/will do anything but talk all of it.

The plan is to overwhelm every aspect of American life, in the schools, in local politics, local law-enforcement, indoctrinate the children, force compliance to the government mandates use of COVID vaccines and masking as the trial run, and on and on all at the same time, knowing everything is bound up in investigations, litigations, and weak politicians like Greg Abbott of Texas who could actually shut the Texas/Mexico border down, but won’t do it. He talks a good talk and signs some executive orders that look and sound good, but in reality no one pays attention to them. Hell, even local school boards defy his executive orders with impunity.

The bottom line is, America as we knew it is over. The Rubicon has been crossed and there is no coming back. Yeah, I know it sounds defeatist, but it’s more like reality. Our only hope is to trust in Christ for salvation because only things of eternal value will matter when this is over. I know I should pray for our elected leaders, but I find that very difficult knowing the hatred they have of God, Christians and anything good and decent. I do take comfort in knowing that none of them will ever enjoy the utopia they think they’re building. Here’s the message to them: Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him.
