Biden is destroying the U.S. in many ways

May 14, 2021

Ah yes, the ol’ blog is still here. It’s been so long I didn’t know if WordPress bumped my site! I’ve been so busy with my semi-retirement duties (Rina seems to find all sorts of projects for me!).

Okay, I read this article about the staggering rise in lumber cost (280% since ‘pre-pandemic’ cost) and that the rise is nothing but conspiracy theorists fueling a fake crisis. I kinda have to scratch my head while reading the loony liberal take on the thing. I really can’t figure out whether the writer is saying, “Yes, there’s a shortage because of the pandemic.” or “It’s only a conspiracy theorist saying there’s a shortage … but there isn’t a shortage …” Anyway, here’s what he/she wrote, “In reality, higher lumber prices have been fueled by a combination of more demand for new housing, home improvement projects and the lingering effects of lumber producers reducing production in the first months of the pandemic …” So, I guess there is a shortage. You know, those dastardly home improvement projects is just killing the ply-wood market! The writer says it’s simply ‘supply and demand’ in action. Welp, the supply seems to be pretty good according to the article. Folks, ‘in reality’ Biden’s massive spending ($6 TRILLION in 100 days) and non-stop money printing is causing inflation at a rate not seen in decades. Watch everything get real expensive real quick.

I started to write something on the next link, but I’m honestly at a loss for words, at least any that I feel comfortable writing here. Click RIGHT ABOUT HERE and if you can, write something in the comments section.

Biden and company, the Democrats, loony liberals (I repeat myself), the media along with the education system today are destroying the U.S. military. China and Russia love it. Click RIGHT HERE to watch a U.S. Army recruitment video, I suppose to attract some bad-a$$ fighting men and women. Below that is a Russian and then a Chinese recruitment video. They are all very short and you can see why Russia and China are not concerned about the U.S. military under Biden.

Much truth said here as usual. Just had new roof done (house 2246 sq. ft.). $12,410. Last done in 2001 for about $2000. Neighbor had his done after hurricane Ivan (Pensacola, FL.2004) for $5000. I let it go too long though. Twenty years (no leaks though), till after Sally (2020). No major damage as old man got on roof with gallon of roofing cement to spread where a few shingles missing.
Needed 17 sheets of plywood (two allowed in contract) was $1360 or almost $91 a sheet (installed).
Need a new lawn tractor. Salesman said he could sale me one of such quality, I’d the last one I’d have to buy. Oh yeah, I’m to be 79 in June. πŸ™‚
Hope I’m done on the roof top.

I need to have my roof re-shingled soon. My home was built in 2000 and never been replaced. I was on the roof the other day checking things out. I think it’s best we stay off them and let the young stud-muffins handle it. The lawn is handled by some lawn-care guy for a nominal fee. I’m officially an Uber driver now!

Don’t get pistol whipped while driving (saw on news about that).
Here in FL insurance companies are cancelling policies on houses with roofs as old as fifteen years. Mine was exactly 20. Not all the sheets of plywood was for the home. Had a large out building, like 26X50, which some was for. And it was an additional $6390 for its re-roof.
Well, both mine had been through Ivan (04), Dennis (05), and lastly Sally {2020). All of which the eye came right over me. Can’t complain.
Lawn tractor is another matter though. Troy Bilt barely lasted just over 4 years. Had no grease fittings on spindles, pulleys, or steering. Mower deck is shot. B and S engine fine.
I’d say yeah, you getting close to re-roofing. πŸ™‚
