I support the President

October 26, 2019

I get accused all the time of blindly supporting President Trump ‘no matter what he does!’ Actually, that’s not necessarily true. Thus far I’ve supported him because he’s been accomplishing the very things of which I voted for him. #1: I voted for Trump because I knew the next president would be appointing a couple of Supreme Court Justices. I didn’t want any more of the likes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, or even John Roberts. I felt that a President Trump would appoint people from the list he publicly revealed during his campaign. He’s done that. Not only Supreme Court appointees, but the Federal District courts, etc. of which he’s been filling at a record pace with conservative, or justices who don’t legislate from the bench, but follow the Constitution. #2: I voted for him because he promised to “build the wall.” I felt that was a good way (not the only way) to help secure our southern border from the obvious invasion of people from Mexico and Central America, not to mention Islamic infiltrators. #3: He got my vote because I’m wary of the importation of Muslims who come from hostile Islamic nations and nearly all are unvetted. Donald Trump promised to get a grip on that … and as far as I know he’s been doing it.

Those are the three main reasons I voted for Donald Trump. In reality, he’s turned out to be much more conservative than I thought. His stand with Israel is of major importance and consequences.

I realize this whole phony impeachment process is nothing more than cover for the Democrats. The fake Mueller ‘investigation’ was just a cover for Hillary’s and Obama’s role in the effort to get Hillary elected. For those who don’t know, Attorney General William Barr and U.S. attorney John Durham’s investigation into that fake investigation has turned into a criminal investigation. And that means dear friends, there are a whole bunch of people sweating their a$$es off. Namely, James Clapper, John Brennan, James Comey, Lisa Page, Peter Strozk, Andy McCabe, and on and on. A criminal investigation means Barr and Durham can subpoena documents and written witness testimonies. Convene a grand jury … which will produce indictments … which will, lets just say reveal the insidious, treasonous, and traitorous actions of the aforementioned weasels. We can know of a certainty that Obama and Hillary will escape justice. But the ‘bus’ is running and under it are all those people, all those who Obama and Hillary will throw under.

However, if we can just focus on the ‘real’ criminal … the real bad guy, who has to have done something wrong, if we can just find a crime (we have the man), we can bring him down. Sigh, if only Mueller would have delivered … if only Avenatti hadn’t gotten arrested … if only Trump had colluded with Russia, or obstructed justice, or done something … dammit!!!

~~~~
Okay, moving along here. I’d like one of the more left-leaning folks visiting here to provide us with a Democrat with a plan to improve on anything Trump has done or is doing. You know, like create more jobs, reduce unemployment, get N. Korea to get rid of their nuclear weapons, negotiate with China without selling out the U.S., bring peace to America, stop the flow of illegal immigrants, further criminal justice reform (without simply letting all the criminals go), protect the 2nd amendment for law abiding gun owners, at the same time punish those committing crimes using guns, make health care affordable (oh wait, Obama already did that), stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon (oh wait … Obama paid them off with pallets of cash to stop them), get U.S. citizens released from captivity (oh wait, Trump has already done that … without releasing high ranking Taliban terrorists for a deserter). Hmmmmm, I suspect not one Democrat candidate can compete with Trump.
My question to liberals is, which Democrat are you supporting? I’ll list a few names and if you click on them, you’ll get a look at what they’re proposing for you and me.
Beto O’Rourke
Bernie Sanders
Liz Warren
Joe Biden   (can’t figure out whether to wind his a$$ or scratch his watch)
That’s enough. We already know these morons and the rest of the Democrats are competing to see who can come up with the most “free stuff.” I’m just curious as to which Democrat folks like our good friend Doug supports. Unless he’s just another liberal who’s more than willing to sell out the country because he doesn’t like the way Trump combs his hair.
Things will get interesting during the next 13 months.
    I was not a NeverTrumper, but he was far from my first choice in the primaries. We’ve talked about this! Now, he may be my favorite president ever, and boy, Reagan’s shoes are pretty “yuge” shoes to fill, pardon my punning. 🙂 I never thought I would ever like a president as much as I loved Reagan, but Trump make my American heart swell with pride. 🙂
    And this, this says a lot of my thoughts, too. 🙂 https://me.me/i/people-message-me-why-i-stick-my-neck-out-for-66033fe853e540208b02d9030a3e7693
    Love you! And please give that lovely bride of yours a hug from me, too! xoxox ❤
      Hey Vanessa! Yes ma’am we did ‘talk’ about Trump during the campaign. He wasn’t my first choice either. (2nd) I actually voted for Ted Cruz in the Texas primary. I kinda kick myself for that. I started paying attention to him during his rallies and the debates and the guy made sense. Rina couldn’t stand him at first. The she actually watched the debate with Hillary. She was instantly won over. (she isn’t political at all). And yes, Trump at his rallies will lift you up because he is genuine and you can tell the guy really loves America. That is something we’ve needed for a very long time.
      I loved the link you sent. Could not have stated the way I feel better.
      Thank you for being a wonderful lady and dear friend.
    Well, Steve… I’m an honest-to-goodness card-carrying member of the California GOP. To be more accurate I would be classified as one of those never-Trumpers.. one of the “human scum” our dear President felt it necessary to provide the derogatory label (no.. don’t compare with Hillary’s “half are deplorables”… she wasn’t a sitting president when she said it; being deplorable is a moral judgement based on some level of performance. Human scum is just plain schoolyard degrading).
    But to the idea of which Dem I might select as my choice to beat Trump… for the first time in my life, should Trump get to an election, I will be voting for who I don’t want as president rather than some level of going with a candidate with my preferred presidential attributes. In other words, I really don’t give a tinker’s damn what Dem ends up winning the primary as that will be the one I vote for simply to get Trump outta there.
    Now.. if the worst were to happen for Trump supporters and he’s bounced out before the election Pence has no momentum to run in 2020.. and very likely a more traditional Republican might make a difference. But we will all agree that’s a long shot. The Republican party is in a shambles regardless and would need some time to re-organize to find a Trump replacement anyway.
    And, no, I am not worried in the least that any of the Liberal candidates are going to change the country and impose their wills. For one thing the winner would need the support of Congress to even remotely get any of the “wild” stuff done. If the Republicans lose the Senate majority.. sorry to say, that’s on them.
      Interesting an insult from Hillary rolls off your back … but one from Trump is just too much to take. Interesting that you have an ‘anyone but Trump’ attitude, knowing the policies of the Democrats. You are correct in the fact that the President used the term “human scum” in referring to the Never Trumpers. In the reference he said they are more dangerous than the democrats. I see his point. Any Republican that supports the destruction of America, that supports open borders and all of the Democrat policies knowing they will cripple this nation… well, I don’t know about “human scum,” but they might as well be democrats. I’m not sure what to label them as labeling isn’t my thing. I think phonies is a more accurate description in that the call themselves Republican and all along they claimed support for all the things that Trump has done … they just don’t like the fact that HE’S accomplished them. To suggest a Democrat president needs the support of Congress to do a lot damage is utterly naive. I think Mitt Romney is the perfect example of ‘human scum.’ I listened to his speech during the 2016 campaign that he made against Trump. It disgusted me and I was a Ted Cruz supported at the time. Okay, forgive me.
      Hehe… Makes me recall back in 1968/69 I had a teacher in my Business Law class, Mr. Spieker, who would blame the Communists for disruptions in our class (guys screwing off and not paying attention). I got caught laughing at their antics one day and Mr. Spieker called me up to his desk and asked me why I wasn’t paying attention in class. I told him I thought their were Communist elements in class bent on disrupting our educational process. He readily bought into that and told me to go back to my seat and keep my guard up.
      Again, an interesting comment bro. Doug. You’re old enough to remember this: “We will take America without firing a shot … we will bury you!” We can see what’s happened to the education system (those who have paid even cursory attention). The universities are breeding grounds for communists/socialists very big time. Something like 80+ percent of professors are democrats and or far-left loons … indoctrinating the captive audience with “climate change” and how the world will end in 10 years. But it is entertaining.
      I don’t fear what I read or watch in the media. At best I “take it under advisement” until I can validate it for some level of credibility.. if I choose to do that at all by setting a personal priority to it (or defaulting to some common sense). That’s all done in the flash of thought, not dwelled on as a conscious process. For example… when Conservative bloggers provide links to cite their basis for certain opinions the first thing I might do is check their link to evaluate a possible bias. Sadly, because Conservative bloggers dislike the “liberally-biased” mainstream media most of their link-sources have marginal credibility as journalistic sources or are biased associations/organizations. But.. many times there are tidbits between the biased conclusions that can send me to other searches. But it’s all too common that if one has a personal opinion, that they prefer reading only the opinions of those with the same or similar opinions. It’s natural for folks to prefer talking with folks that agree with them. It provides validity to ourselves.
      You submitted your WaPo Baghdadi obit as an example of some reader being tossed fake news. A debate on the use of austere? Definition… “severe or strict in manner, attitude, or appearance”. That’s a fake description of the guy? Oh sure.. you expected WaPo to have a headline like “Scumbag ISIS Founder Kills Himself While Running Screaming Wildly With Americans In Hot Pursuit”? Both are accurate to me. It’s up to the reader to take an interest to get the entire context of the guy. Why must news be spoon-fed?
      John Liming is way more than woke up Paulette. He’s living for Christ and is truly the quintessential conservative. I’ve talked with him on the phone a couple of times and he’s such an encouraging voice to hear. Rina and I pray for him every night during our devotions and it’s uplifting to hear him talk about Christ and how he tries to further the gospel.
      Yes ma’am, liberals make me sick as well … at least their loony thought process.
      Holy moly Doug. I think I’ve had enough. I can’t deal with people whose entire “argument” is made up of the ol’ both ways thing. I’m reminded of the scripture, “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
      You’d probably find the headline, “Adolf Hitler, vegetarian, motivational speaker and dog lover with a keen ear for the opera passed away suddenly at age 56” accurate. Anyone who’s never heard of him just might find it sad he passed away so suddenly if that’s all they had to go on. I’m certain my point is lost on you.
    To address this “human scum” thing.. and something you brought up, Steve…
    First off, at this juncture in Trump’s head-first dive into his self-made abyss… the name calling really is not an issue. As I’ve said, Trump/events are going to get way worse before any election. Name-calling just comes with the pain and stress in the Administration.. hence Kellyanne’s whacked outburst with that reporter… with more to come.
    On the surface… should I object to any bozo who feels the need to assign to me a label of “human scum” simply because of political opinion… given the fact that I served in the military helping to defend the bozo’s right to say it? No.. no bullets were ever aimed at me by some enemy therefore I will not make any claim at some sacrifice. To call me human scum for my political opinion is one thing… but you said…
    “Unless he’s [Doug] just another liberal who’s more than willing to sell out the country because he doesn’t like the way Trump combs his hair.”
    We’ve covered the accuracy of me being a Liberal already. But “selling out the country because I don’t like the way he combs his hair”? If you think I don’t want Trump as President is because of his appearance, then you’ve not been paying attention. As for “selling out the country”… I think Trump has us all beat there as it’s becoming apparent each day that he’s been doing a great job “buying & selling” out the country in some form for his own purpose. But to accuse me of selling out the country? I’ve demonstrated my love for the country and the Constitution. Have you?
    Ok.. posturing aside… I know you enough as a blogger that there’s a growing frustration with Trump supporters, and things will get said as Trump continues to paint himself into a corner. That’s to be expected. But here’s the difference in our opinions, Steve. I still see you and other Trump supporters as a fellow Americans. You and other Trump supporters see me as human scum to be feared for wanting to “shred the Constitution”, or what you said… “sell out the country”.
    God will have the final say in all this because I already know that ALL things work together for good to those who love The Lord and are called according to His Purposes. No matter what happens in the political arena, when the rubber meets the road it is God who has the final say. In the meantime I am praying for our President because the Scripture tells me to pray for those appointed over us.
      Hello John. I pray you’re doing well. Rina asks about you all the time. It’s true “God is in control.” America’s judgement is on the way. I’ve been reading Ezekiel lately and I noticed the similarities between what’s happening in the U.S. and how God’s patience wore out with Israel and Judah for the identical same stuff.
    I don’t believe there ever was a “Whistle Blower” and that the whole “Whistle Blower” thing is contrived and made up. If this were not so, then with all the leaks going on in Washington, surely by this time somebody would have leaked the news about who the alleged whistleblower actually is. I do not think there are too many Leftist Radicals in D.C., with enough intelligence to keep a critical secret for too long because the Left likes publicity too much and the temptation to splll the beans would be too great for their godless immorality to resist.
      Hey Christine. Thank you for that link. I just read it and most of it doesn’t surprise me. I’ve held the view for over a decade that 9/11 was an “inside” job … Brennen was just one actor in the entire ‘play.’ Rest assured the coordination of that insidious event went much deeper than him. There is zero doubt 9/11/2001 happened because of corruption at the very top of the U.S. government.
      I pray every day for President Trump during my devotion time with Rina. I genuinely fear for his life as these people are so corrupt and evil they will stop at nothing to ‘take him out’ one way or another.
      I have no reason to doubt the author of the article. Actually, I sincerely believe the corruption is much, much worse. I sincerely believe Barack Hussein Obama was/is a foreign national. That the great majority of the Congress knows it. That the members of the Supreme Court, the military elite, the media and the intelligence agencies know it. There is no way the truth of his fraud will ever come out. Can you image all those people being found out to be actual traitors, which they definitely are? That’s one reason why the media, etc. are so quick to label anyone who starts to point to the fraud as “conspiracy theorists” etc. I posted this short video before. I’ll put it up here as a reminder of what we’ve be expected to believe …
      In the mean time, I’m delighted to ‘hear’ from you Christine. I hadn’t been blogging much until recently just getting back into it a bit. Thanks for stopping by and I pray you and your lovely family are well.https://youtu.be/HXYswf3lzU8
    Thanks so much for your very thoughtful reply.
    It has been very difficult to believe that members in our own government would have been complicit in the 9/11 attacks. Very sadly, that appears to be the case.
    This may be a trivial point, but I always wondered why Bush stayed silent for the 8 long and awful years under 0bummer, yet immediately criticized President Trump. John McCain has now been revealed (allegedly) as a traitor. Romney has turned out to be complicit in deep state activities. That leaves only two presidents (Reagan and Trump) that I am happy and proud to have supported with my vote!
    Ugh 😑. The Clintons and Bushes were disasters!
    I’ve read that John F. Kennedy was assassinated because he wouldn’t go along with what the deep state wanted.
    I knew that the 0bama era crimes were bad, but I had no idea how grievous those years were! Thank God that He heard our cries for a president who would turn the tide from evil and crime back towards good and prosperity.
    So much more that I’d like to write but need to get going and help my daughter with my two wonderful grand girls! I love being a Nana!
    I appreciate your online friendship and I plan to visit your blog more often. God bless you & Rina, Steve. And please keep those prayers coming! I will do the same.
    In Christ,
    Christine
      Hey Christine! Yes ma’am it is immensely disheartening to realize those within our government are so corrupt and have been for decades. As Patrick Henry stated: “We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth.” I’ll leave a link for you to gain a bit more knowledge about that corruption. Chuck Missler (who sadly passed away last year) was a Biblical scholar ‘extraordinaire’ and knowledgeable in so many scientific fields breaks down some of the corruption in this video. It’s long but well worth watching. A lot of his stuff is so enlightening.
      It’s a bit sad to know that things will only get worse as we continue on. I think President Trump’s victory is a reflection of God’s tender mercy towards us … a ‘respite’ if you will for the sake of souls. The apostasy of the church is overwhelming right now. Nearly every denomination is buying into the “Emergence” thing which is so deceptive and dangerous. Way too much to get into right now. I’ll let you get busy dear lady with those precious little ones.
      Thank you for your continued friendship which I cherish immensely.
