Not Bad For His First Year As President!

I watched the entire SOTU Address last night. President Trump’s presentation was pretty darn good. I watched it on my laptop at my kitchen table. I think the AP was showing it and the “author” or guy who was ‘analyzing’ the speech for them was named Dylan (something). Throughout the speech this moron would tweet and comment live on the site, desperately looking for anything he could find to put in a negative light. Like, “The only ‘bipartisan’ applause Trump is getting is …” and crap like that. And this other guy, Olivier ???, can’t remember his last name, kept tweeting live during the speech about how Trump wasn’t getting enthusiastic applause from the GOP, and that what the President said regarding chain-migration was false … and he claimed he was “fact-checking” the speech. Stunning is the only word I can apply to the utter hatred for President Trump. I watched the whole thing and I’m not sure what I would call dozens of standing ovations, but that seems pretty enthusiastic to me. I had to laugh out loud at the point where the crowd started chanting “USA, USA” … and Rep. Luis Gutierrez got up and almost ran out of the place. LOL! That made my “decade!”

I have to tell you folks, there is no comparison to Barack Obama and President Trump. There is absolutely no denying the fact that America is becoming stronger, richer, and much more respected in the world under President Trump’s leadership.

Naturally the major media, despite the hands-down positive speech by the President, focused on anything they could to cast negativity. Like the President clapping when he introduced the grieving families of the victims of illegal criminals … he directing his applause towards them … in the media’s view was bad.

What’s more stunning is the fact that this non-politician, this crass, rude, arrogant businessman has done more to “make America great again” than any President in many decades. He has proven to be far more conservative than we (conservatives) imagined.

Yeah, I don’t agree with granting amnesty or citizenship for the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. I’m very, actually, beyond disappointed in this. I read the piece about Mark Levin’s take on it and I agree with him. I can’t imagine how the President can think this is a good thing, but I suppose we’ll see. I think the President shouldn’t give the illegal immigrants anything, at all, except one way tickets back to where they came from. This “path to citizenship” is a slap in the face to all those who come here legally, wait in line, do things the right way, assimilate and become citizens because they love this country. I don’t know. I don’t get it that he and the Republicans are giving the Democrats perpetual power by doing this. Thinking they will benefit politically giving citizenship to illegal aliens is stunning … it ain’t gonna happen.

One thing I never thought about (probably because of my advanced age), is the fact that all males in America have to register with the Selective Service when they turn 18 years old. That means even “undocumented” immigrants. I’m wondering how many of these guys who have been here for 20+ years, brought here by their parents actually registered? Check this out.

The black community seems to be pissed that this white guy is doing more for them than Obama ever thought about … who was their “king” and “great white … er … black hope.” Personally I don’t get it. What difference does it make if the President isn’t “presidential” if he’s getting the job done? The Democrats can’t stand the success President Trump is having and they’re scared to death of any more successes. The media, the same. They are desperate to undermine his success and twist every action into fear and division, when in reality the opposite is true.

I thank God that it wasn’t Hillary up there and never will be!
